Frequently asked questions

Short answers about how ESX works today.

What is ESX?

ESX is an engineering catalogue in which every part is defined completely: each parameter has a value and a tolerance. It introduces buyers and suppliers.

Do I need to register?

You can search and view parts without an account. Downloading the drawing and the CAD files requires free registration with a verified email address.

Which CAD format do you provide?

STEP, for the parts that have a model. The 3D model can be viewed on the page without registering.

How do I order a part?

If the supplier lists a price, send a purchase request at that price; the supplier confirms it and the order is placed. If no price is listed, send a request for quote: suppliers answer with a price, you choose, and you order directly from that supplier.

Can I pay on the site?

Not at this stage. Payment is made outside ESX, directly between buyer and supplier. ESX is not a party to the order.

What does ESX charge?

The service is free during the launch period. Any future charge will be announced in advance.

What is the conformance declaration?

A supplier ticks one checkbox under the full parameter table to declare that the product meets the definition as shown. Without it the offer is not visible.

What happens when a definition changes?

Offers that rely on the old definition are hidden at once. The supplier can re-declare with one click, and the offer returns.

What does a supplier see about me?

Before an award, the supplier sees your company name and country. Contact details are shared after you choose.

Which markets do you serve?

Israel first. Other markets will follow later.

Is ESX an ERP system?

No. ESX is a catalogue and a meeting point between buyers and suppliers. It does not manage your company's resources.
