How ESX works
Five steps from finding a part to ordering it. ESX introduces buyer and supplier; the order and the payment are between the two of you.
The steps
- Find the part. Search by name, standard or parameter. Each standard product has one page with its full parameter table, and the 3D model can be viewed without an account.
- Register to download. Registration is free and needs a verified email address. It unlocks the datasheet, the drawing file and the CAD (STEP) file.
- Send a purchase request or a request for quote (RFQ). Add the parts and quantities you need: an offer with a listed price is requested at that price; an offer without one is sent to suppliers as a request for quote.
- A supplier answers. Suppliers who declared that their product meets the definition reply with a price. You see each supplier before you choose.
- Order directly. You place the order with the supplier you chose. Contact details are shared after the choice is made.
Payment
Payment is made outside ESX, directly between buyer and supplier. ESX does not process payments and is not a party to the order. Payment on the site may be offered at a later stage.
Good to know
- The definition on the page is the definition the supplier answers to. If it changes, offers that depended on it are hidden until the supplier confirms again.
- The service starts in Israel.
- The service is free during the launch period.
